I was very saddened to hear of Carl's passing. It was my great privilege and pleasure to become friends with Carl in his role as a leader in AgriMark. As all of the testimonies indicate, he was a humble man who deserved to be proud, a kind and gracious man who deserved our kindness and grace in return. He personified the best of farmer leadership.

Dear Midge and family,
Carl was a fine man and wonderful example of a farmer who loved the land. I will always remember the visits, swimming in your new farm pond and your kind and gentle ways as a couple. Carl came to Dad's funeral in April and said that Ray had been his bus driver, I didn't realize the ties that went back so long ago including our shared Aunt Hattie Peterson Barber. . May you all take great strength in what a blessing to have such a wonderful person in your lives. Most sincerely, Paula Shafer

We are saddened to think of the world without Carl. A wonderful man and we are so thankful for the role you and he played in our lives. We enjoyed the times we visited you at your home in Carl's post Agri-Mark days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now even though we can't attend the service to remember Carl.
