Charles w. Janosik Jr.

Charles W. Janosik Jr.  , 71, of Duanesburg, died at home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Charles was born in Brooklyn, NY. and graduated from Richmondville High School. He later earned an Associate’s degree from SCCC. Charles was employed at the General Electric Co. for 45 years and retired in 2013 as a Shipping Operations Supervisor.

He enjoyed bike riding, camping, canoeing, kayaking and was a member of several area gun clubs. But he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife Alice J. Janosik, who died in 2013 and his mother, Evelyn Janosik.

He is survived by his four children; Christine Bornt and her husband Jeremy of Johnstown,  Jennifer Dixon, and her husband Walter of Delanson, Dennis Janosik, and his fiancée Jacqueline Holmes of Guilderland and Nicholas Janosik of Duanesburg, his father; Charles W. Janosik of Summit, NY, two sisters and brothers in law;  Sandee Greene, and her husband Raymond of Guilderland and Theresa Commisso, and her husband Rocco of Altamont, four cherished  grandchildren; Tristan and Alexandra Dixon of Delanson and David and Benjamin Bornt of Johnstown as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10 am to 12 noon at the White-VanBuren Funeral Home, 1779 Main St. in Delanson.

Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 12 noon.

Interment will follow at Grove Cemetery.
