While at Syracuse, Bob was an active member of the ROTC program and enjoyed his social and service time with his Sigma Nu fraternity brothers.  Bob married Susan Walker, his college sweetheart in 1962. He was a proud member of the United States Army, serving as a captain in South Korea.  After returning from overseas, Bob continued working for Liberty Mutual Insurance as a claims adjuster. He then moved to Clifton Park, NY and was employed with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant.  The couple welcomed their 2 children into their home and they remember him as a driven and kind father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Bob had an extraordinary talent at working with people to help them reach their potential. He was a generous individual who loved playing golf, maintaining his property, and who was passionate about the stock market.  He volunteered at the local American Legion and enjoyed working with senior citizens with financial planning.
