Quaker Street – Edna Zeh (Scranton) Taber, 98, passed away on January 7, 2022. Not from Covid. She was just exhausted.
Edna lived most of her life in the Village of Quaker Street. She retired from the Duanesburg School District. Edna was a longtime member of Duanesburg Christ Episcopal Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold and her daughter Sandy.
Remaining to put flowers on her grave are her daughters Jill (Gary) Brandoline of Duanesburg, Tami Griessler (Dale Warner) of Quaker Street and her son Timothy (Victoria) Taber of Salinas, CA.
Also her grandchildren Amy (Craig) Gravina, Kyle (Kellie) Brandoline, Sara (Christopher) Pring, Kayla Griessler, Corey Weakly, Craig, Samara, Diana, Masao, Michael and Robina Taber.
She also leaves several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Edna has made an anatomical gift to Albany Medical College. In keeping with her wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
Anyone wishing to may make a donation in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Duanesburg Christ Episcopal Church.
