John Frank Bogart, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 27th, 2020 at Hudson Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
John was born in Smithtown, Long Island to his parents, the late Orville “Joe” Bogart Jr. and Patricia Brock-Bogart.
John attended Hudson Valley Community College. He worked for a short time at Valley Beverage and later for over 6 years at the Duanesburg Diner as a chef, a job which he loved very much.
In John’s spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. John loved all animals, especially Angel Boy and Snowball who he spoiled. John also loved his Pepsi.
He was very loved and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
John is survived by his loving sister, Shirley Gratz, his aunt, Marilyn Cocozzello, aunt and uncle, Walter and Maureen Brock as well as his friend, Joyce Keppel.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his uncle, Ralph Cocozzello, brother-in-law, Rev. Richard Gratz, his maternal grandparents, Martha and Walter Brock and paternal grandparents, Mary and Orville Bogart Sr.
Funeral services will be held at a date in the future.
John’s family would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor of Hudson Park, especially the nurses and Angela, Sherri and Jessica for the care they gave John during his time there.
