Lillian D. Anderson, 92, passed away at the Schenectady Center on Saturday, June 5th, 2021. She was the daughter of Arthur Van Wie and Lillian (Van Patten) Van Wie.
Lillian worked for Delmar Publishers for several years and then Enterprise Auto, where she worked until her retirement at the age of 82 due to declining health.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Earl F. Anderson and her son Gary E. Anderson, her brother Donald Van Wie, and sisters Edith Scofield and Helen (Betty) Dresselt.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn F. Brenn (Kenneth Trudell) of Delanson, granddaughters, Vicki L. (Robert, Jr.) Flower of Cobleskill and Lauren Anderson of Cobleskill, Great Granddaughters, Jessica (Derek) Case of Westerlo and Cassandra L. Flower of Cobleskill, Great-Great Grandsons, Dalton and Cole Case.
Her daughter-in-law, Charlene Anderson.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Although Lillian’s memory failed her over the last few years, she still enjoyed reminiscing about the years she spent helping and traveling with Vicki and the Duanesburg Color Guard. She also enjoyed searching for treasures at lawn and garage sales. Most of all she enjoyed her family. They meant the world to her. She will be missed by so many.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
