SchoharieRita Barber Hebert DeMolin, 87, passed away Wednesday July 14, 2021. A graduate of Delanson High School Rita grew up in Delanson & Duanesburg and lived in Central Bridge for 12 years before moving to Schoharie in 2002. She operated Spruce Hill Adult Home in Central Bridge for 12 years. Rita was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Delanson. She was the former President and Secretary of the parish council and a member of the altar rosary society. Rita was also a member of the Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Past president of the Duanesburg Little League.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond J. DeMolin, who she married on October 12, 2002.

Two sons Michael Hebert of Duanesburg and Martin (Donna) Hebert of Delanson.

Two daughters Michele (Tom) O’Brien of Florida and Marcelle Hebert of Kentucky.

Four grandchildren Michael (Tracy) Hebert of Esperance, Matthew Hebert of Delanson, Christopher Hebert of Schenectady and Cheyenne Bradt of Kentucky.

She is also survived by two great grandsons Mason & Nathaniel.

Along with her parents Rita was predeceased by her son Mark Hebert and her aunt Shirley Shafer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday July 20th  at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1735 Alexander Rd., Delanson.

Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Delanson.

There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rita’s memory to Our Lady of Fatima Church.
