Wayne Caban Obituary
Duanesburg – Wayne Bernard Caban, 75, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and daughter.
He was born on March 23, 1946 in Rotterdam, NY to Bernard Caban and Virginia Balletti-Caban. He worked for General Electric for 25 years, followed by the Lawrence Group, and the NYS workers compensation insurance rating board. He was also a proud volunteer fireman for the Town of Duanesburg for over 20 years. He also served as fire commissioner.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Carol Theresa Caban, his daughter Danielle Maloney and her husband Thomas G. Maloney III. He also leaves behind two wonderful grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlyn.
Calling hours will be held On Tuesday April 27th from 10am -12pm at White-Van Buren Funeral Home 1779 Main St., Delanson. A 12 noon prayer service will immediately follow. Christian burial will take place at St. Joseph’s cemetery, Schenectady.
