Delanson - William (Billy) Olejnik Jr. of Delanson was born on February 13,1966 in Schenectady to Claudia and the late William Olejnik Sr. Billy is the younger brother of Joseph Olejnik. Billy entered eternal life on Monday January 16th, 2023, at his residence.
Billy was the beloved father of Kyle and Macy Olejnik of Delanson. Billy enjoyed every minute being with his children, ask anyone. Billy had a way of lighting up a room when he entered. His smile and laugh brought joy to everyone. If you were having a bad day, Billy would change your mood very quickly.
Billy was with Local #2 Bricklayer Union. He spent 40+ years with the union. Billy was a hard worker and respected among many. Along the way he met many people. He gained an army of friends. Billy loved to make jokes and bust chops. His work team was family. Billy’s son Kyle learned the trade and was able to work alongside his dad. Dad taught him the skills to be successful. Many memories will live on.
Macy was daddy’s girl. He was so proud of her dedication to her education. Along with education Billy was her number one fan on and off the bleachers. Sports were a part of their bond and always will be.
Alongside the love for his children, Billy was a devoted loving life partner with Doreen Olejnik. Their love for one another will never change. They were sweethearts from a young age. The love they had for each other can never be taken away from them. They spent 34 years making life an adventure. Some good and some bad, but at the end of the day their love was never questioned for one another.
Billy will live on in all of us through memories and our love for him. Billy loved everyone in his life and his legacy will live on.
